Deeply moving and humanistic, beautifully shot with incredible sound design; the script elegantly balances the dramatic narrative while gradually submerging the audience in the challenge of how to communicate with the aliens. This film resonated with me long after I had left the screening and made me want to rush home and hug my kids. The epitome of why I adore going to the cinema.
