Other than hoping to watch a good movie, I had no expectations or preconceived notion of this new adaptation. I've never read any book by Agatha Christie before, nor have I seen any other film adaptation beforehand, let alone had a chance to see this one in theaters (due to work schedule. Watching Ragnarok with Taika's commentary, especially when his daughter pops in throughout is a fun little gem, and makes me wanna give this film 6 stars.
Equally on par with What We Do in the Shadows and Hunt for the Wilderpeople in terms of humor, weirdness and emotional/thematic material, but both films edge out Ragnarok a bit further in those areas. Ragnarok is still a top 5 MCU film (IMO), one of my favorite movies (from last year and in…
