MannVanuary - 13 of 24 (Melvin or Mario Film)

At least watchable and there are many familiar faces. But the acting and writing didn't really work for me. I couldn't really see what the movie was trying to be either. Somehow not really classifiable between seriousness and exaggeration, since it is neither exaggerated enough for one, nor serious enough for the other.

MannVanuary - 12 of 24 (western from the following: Corbucci, Daves, Martino, Peckinpah or Boetticher)

I loved this movie from the moment the marvelous Bob Dylan soundtrack began. A Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid story is always interesting and when you also have the amazing Kris Kristofferson and James Coburn in the cast you can't go wrong. Then there's surprisingly Bob Dylan in a supporting role and Harry Dean Stanton, who I always enjoy when I see him in movies. And let's not forget some great effects like the shotgun hit.

I met a man who loved everything. And he died in a flood of shit.

A family with marital problems that are much more bizarre in content than just an ordinary lover. Strong performances by Sam Neill and Heinz Bennent, as well as an extraordinary and completely insane performance by Isabelle Adjani. Great and intense marriage quarrel with great dialogues on the one hand and complete madness with great effects on the other hand.

A partly ridiculous and silly, but also quite entertaining and funny zombie movie with an entertaining synth score. Almost everywhere where there are zombies there is a lot of smoke and green light, which doesn't make any sense, but looks good. Zombie birds, a flying zombie head, explosions and an exploding head, there is enough to have fun.
