Letterboxd Showdown #20: Newsroom!

Newsroom! It's all about the news. All the news. All the time.

For this list, I'm ranking the greatest films ever made that surround journalists and news and the struggles that said journalists have getting their big story. I'm not including films where a journalist was a part of a side plot or a minor character (with the possible exception to this rule being Liberty Valance, but I'll explain that entry in the notes).

So, yeah. These are the greatest films ever made about journalists and journalism, as chosen by me.

Also, I'm going to be super disappointed when Citizen Kane doesn't make the top spot on the Letterboxd Showdown main list. I've already made my peace with that.

Final also, you're not going to find Nightcrawler on my list. Because I didn't like that movie. Sorry.
