"Blades of Glory" was one of those films I watched too much as a kid. It still holds up for me now, except for the atrocious CGI. The humour was everything I remembered it being, but wow, the CG was rough.

A Marvel movie that remembers to have fun. Sure, in their recent films such as Black Widow and Eternals, the quips were present and they held an overall light hearted tone. But "Spider-Man: No Way Home" remembers it is a superhero movie.

Liked this one a lot. Have not enjoyed a Marvel project since the climactic "End Game," and this new entry definitely brings my love back. Not only in its fan service approach, but some legitimately strong performances and great cinematography.

"I can't hear you, do you understand me? I'm deaf!"

This film is immaculate. A simple story told through perfect direction, acting and editing and giving us a phenomenal performance from Riz Ahmed and pretty much everyone else from the cast. The film is an emotional ride, showing the life of a metal drummer who starts to quickly lose his hearing and at first, his whole life. The use of community and friendship is powerful, signifying how deafness does not…

Bro, that one scene in the car was so deep.

My second experience with Charlie Kaufman, first with him directing and it was the exact mind-fuck I was expecting it to be. Can't talk much about anything because nothing is real.

While I may not understand this, like at all, I still loved it. My rating will probably increase after subsequent viewings but damn, I don't know what to make of it.

Great film, proper review coming after a 2nd or 100th viewing.
