    What in the world even was this? Romeo Is Bleeding was so exaggerated that I thought the film might be trying to make a statement about the neo-noir genre but there really aren't any winks to the audience or any sense of self awareness from the film that I think this was supposed to be taken straight?     Jeepers Creepers


    The first half hour of Jeepers Creepers is pretty fantastic, establishing our brother-sister leads and their relationship, setting up the situation at hand with this creepy vehicle trying to run them off the road and then the siblings uncovering something they shouldn't.

    But things sort of start to lose steam once outside parties start getting involved, the lore being "explained", and some lapses in logic. The movie still never gets bad, and it still has a few inspired moments here…
